One of the largest County Football Associations in the country, London FA, has commissioned Oaks Consultancy to develop a new strategy with the aim of driving long-term commercial engagement in their mission. Established in 1891, and affiliated with the Football Association, London FA is the County Football Association for London. It administers all levels of men’s, women’s and youth football and is responsible for developing and supporting all grassroots football across the capital.
Working alongside London FA’s CEO, Paul Bickerton, and Aquila Burgess, Head of Partnerships, the team at Oaks are delighted to be embarking on this project, which represents an exciting opportunity to facilitate greater collaboration between commercial enterprises and the fantastic team at London FA.
The project involves a comprehensive review of London FA’s existing activity within the commercial partnership environment, as well as industry and competitive research in order to identify prospective partners. From there, the team will work to develop a rights structure which articulates the value of different packages to potential partners.
