Oaks and the International Table Tennis Federation Foundation: income generation support

Oaks are delighted to announce that we have been commissioned to support the International Table Tennis Federation Foundation (ITTF Foundation) with the development and implementation of their income generation strategy.

Established in 2018, the ITTF Foundation is an independent entity, as well as the Social Responsibility Arm of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF, currently a part of the ITTF Group, which is comprised of the ITTF, World Table Tennis, and the ITTF Foundation). Its mission is twofold: to encourage as many people as possible to participate in table tennis and to promote the sport as a tool for social development. Its five distinct programmes aim to increase accessibility, promote improved social outcomes and peaceful behaviour, and leave a positive legacy in the host locations of table tennis events. The ITTF Foundation has established several incredibly successful initiatives, including World Table Tennis Day, the ITTF Parkinson’s World Table Tennis Championships, #TableTennisUnited fundraising campaign and Dream Building with Refugees.

Fundraising and strategic planning are at the heart of what we do at Oaks, and we are thrilled to have this opportunity to work alongside the ITTF Foundation to help them explore new opportunities and deliver on their mission. The project will involve a three-stage process, beginning with a review of their investment readiness, before moving on to the development of an income generation strategy incorporating new and diverse funding streams, and finally supporting them with the implementation of this plan.

Commenting on the launch of the project, Leandro Olvech, Director of the ITTF Foundation stated:

“The ITTF Foundation is excited to have Oaks Consultancy as our trusted partner for future fundraising campaigns. With their expertise and experience working with socially-minded sport organisations, we are confident to increase the funds and make the most efficient use of the funds raised. We look forward to doing more and better with the help of Oaks Consultancy.”

Luke Southall, Managing Director at Oaks, added:

“It is a real privilege to work with the ITTF Foundation, who hold a unique position within the global sport for development landscape. They successfully harness the convening and inclusive power of table tennis to deliver transformational social impact; confronting some of the most prevalent and challenging societal issues head-on.

We are thrilled to undertake this project and to work with Leandro and the team; we look forward to seeing the Foundation grow and realise their incredible potential over the months and years ahead.”
